It is used to treat illnesses of the stomach and intestine caused by excessive acid production, including heartburn, acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and various other conditions of the stomach. Additionally, Dexilend 30 is used to avoid the acidity and stomach ulcers that may result from using painkillers for an extended period of time. It is a member of the proton pump inhibitors class of drugs (PPIs). Preferably in the morning, this medication should be taken one hour before a meal. Your response to the medication and your underlying condition will determine the dose.

Pharmacology

Dexlansoprazole is a prescription drug. It comes as a delayed-release oral capsule. Delayed-release drugs are released into your body more slowly. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption while taking Dexilend 30mg Capsule, as alcohol can increase stomach acid production, leading to acidity and heartburn.

There are certain drug-disease interactions to consider with Dexilend 30mg Capsule 10's. It may be associated with Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea, bone fractures, severe liver disease, low bone mineral density (osteopenia), and low levels of magnesium in the blood.
